You do know that the UofU is favored to win by 6 points don't you? Also we have a slightly better record than the Cougs. We are undefeated and plan to continue protecting our house. So you might really want to enjoy watching Edward on Friday, because you may just not have such a great day on Saturday! :)

I have to agree with Emily on this one! Go Utes! I can't wait for TWILIGHT! I am crazy I am going at 2:40 am So crazy!!!

You are so trying to bait me into trash-talking, aren't you? I won't do it, though. I am waiting until after the victory on our home turf - then, you are going to need a restraining order to stop me. Enjoy your movie...the weekend might go from good to bad pretty quickly :)

Emily - I do know they are favored, I do know their record is a little better, I even know that our secondary is stinkin' it up. However, what kind of fan would I be if I didn't believe someone is going to step it up and come away with the win! What kind of fan would I be if I didn't know in advance that MY team was going to beat YOUR team! xoxo

Amy - I'm glad you like the Ute Indians, I do too! Emily is wrong about my Saturday, you should change your mind. I don't get to see Twilight until the middle of the day Friday. Let me know what you think...I can't wait!

Corbie - Looks like you took the bait! That e-mail was priceless! But dumb.
I really never remember you saying that you like BYU, I totally made it all up to get you going. I didn't even remember our real conversation. Maybe after the Cougs big miracle win (remember last year)you will change your mind.
Love YOUR guts!

No more unposting comments...I can take the trash talking.

Provo News Report: Football practice in Provo was delayed on Monday for nearly two hours. One of the offensive players, while on his way to the locker room, happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown, white powdery substance on the practice field. The head coach, Bronco Mendenhall, immediately suspended practice while the FBI was called in to investigate. After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice was resumed when the FBI decided that the team would not be likely to encounter the substance again.

Oh, and Robyn - if you didn't stick with your team through the bad times than you would be a crappy fan with a crappy team...at least right now you simply have a crappy team. Keep it up!

Corb - I thought you were waiting until after the game to do your trash talking...I'm kindove scared if the U really does win!

Does a crappy team have this?

BYU tight end Dennis Pitta has been named a semifinalist for the 2008 John Mackey Award by the Nassau County Sports Commission (NCSC). The Mackey Award is given to the collegiate tight end that best exemplifies the play, sportsmanship, academics, and community values of NFL Hall of Fame Tight End John Mackey.

Pitta is currently among the nation's top tight ends in every statistical category. The 6-5, 250-pound junior is second in the nation in yards receiving (992), third in receptions (76) and yards per game (90.18), and fourth in receptions per game (6.91).

Against Air Force on Nov. 15, 2008, Pitta broke the BYU single-season tight end reception record of 68 set by Consensus All-American Chris Smith in 1990. His 152 career receptions are second all-time at BYU for a tight end, trailing only All-American Clay Brown who had 178 from 1978-80.

or this...

MWC Passing Leader - Max Hall
Recieving Leader - Austin Collie and Dennis Pitta

or this...

THE BYU FIGHT SONG????

(That's what I thought)

Well, yes, in fact, a crappy team has all that and more...it just doesn't have any caffeine in its stadium. We are kicking your butts in our house, my friend...our tight-ends will get the job done (oh, and so will our players :)

How do you get a U of U graduate off your front porch?

Pay him for the pizza.

One day in an elementary school in Provo, UT, a teacher asks her class if the BYU Cougars are their favorite football team. The whole class says yes, except for Little Jimmy.

The teacher asks, "What's your favorite football team Jimmy?"

Little Jimmy says, "The Utah Utes "

The teacher asks, "Well, why is that?"

Little Jimmy says, "Well, my dad is a Ute fan, my mom is a Ute fan, I guess that makes me a Ute fan."

The teacher angered by his reply says, "If your dad was a moron and your mom was an idiot what would that make you?"

Little Jimmy says, "Well, I guess that would make me a BYU fan."

What kind of fan would I be if I didn't get in on this?!?! The Cougs are gonna win and partly because they have the best and most loyal fans!!!! GO COUGARS!!!!

Tawny - You went to BYU, I need more from you! I am a Jacob lover for sure. Not that I think Bella should have ended up with him, I just like warm things. Warm blood, warm colors, warm weather - you know what I mean! 5 more hours and I'll let you know who I like better in the movie, soooo excited.

Michelle - What!? You are a Johnson and Johnson's wear BLUE! I understand you liking the Utes before you married Rick, but now is the time to switch teams! I would LOVE to run with you, but I will be eating my Thanksgiving dinner in the mountains!

Sissa - That a girl! You cougar fans really are the best!

Corbie - Looking forward to church!

Robyn, you are not going to like what i am about to type...i feel like Dad right now (you can slap me later), I am having a really hard time being optimistic about the big game. However, I am not a fool, i know a blood red victory when I smell one. The U is on a roll, gliding smoothly, the Y is treading through murky water. I hate to say it, but i think Y will sink tomorrow. :( Say it aint so, i hope i am wrong. Either way, i just wanna see a great battle, up until the end.

However, my main concern right now is Twilight. If this director lets me down, i will find him/her and a serious beat down will take place! Word on the street is Kristen Stewart (Bella) does a phenomenal job, strong performance. I can't wait, i'm dying over here!!!!

Oh yes, and tomorrow is Coldplay! This IS gonna be one Kick A weekend.

I love you Sissy square pants.

So back to Twilight...

It was not as disappointing as I expected. I hope you LOVE it - it will definitely be enough glee to get through the slightest chance of the Cougars falling short.

I am so proud of you Robbie, you have stuck to your guns and your pretty good at the trash stuff too, I know that everyone is writing off the Cougars and on paper maybe they’re right but you can’t measure heart and desire and besides you win on the field not on paper. By the way you forgot that Mad Max is up for the Davey O’Brian award and Austin for the Biletnikoff award for outstanding receiver.
Did you hear that coach Wittingham went to heaven and the Lord met him there and took him to see mansion in heaven it was so big and beautiful, with tall white columns and a BIG U in the middle of the mansion, he said “ I can’t belief that this is my reward, the Lord said you deserve it. As coach looked around he noticed above to his left that there was the most beautiful of all the mansion that he could ever imagine, it so big even bigger and more brilliant than his, he notice that there was a BIG Y in the middle, he then said to the Lord, ho I guess that belongs to coach Mendenhall, then Lord then turned to him and said no that would be my home…..
So who do think will be winning the game……
Al Davis said just win baby……..we will see tomorrow
I have enjoyed all this stuff all of you have written, we will see you ends up standing….
Go Cougars…………… by 3……………

I LOVE YOU DAD. I hope you are right on with the 3 point victory!
What a sad day for Corbie that will be.
I honestly don't believe the Lord chooses sides, unjust is not his style. We will have to leave it in the hands of hardcore RAW talent! These guys have serious skills, if you know what i mean Napoleon.

Dawnie - Shove it! Get off the fence you doubter. I always was the believer! I'll see you in an hour!

Becky - Now I'm even more excited. Never again say Cougars falling short. Do I need to have a talk with you about believing as well?

Dad - I love you!

Robyn said...

Dawnie- That's better.

Wow! Victory is sweet! Sometimes it takes more than faith, divine nature, individual worth, choice and accountability, good works and integrity. Sometimes it just comes down to skill. And did you see that personal foul on Max??? Wow! Sure hope his bishop wasn't watching the game! Those dirty Cougars, they had more than one personal foul during the game!
Sorry,it was just our year! And a nice year it has been: undefeated and MWC!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my Utes!

Certainly a weekend to remember, but not the way you'd hoped! I hope you survived!
