Price is Right and Cash Cab....
I got a little excited after crepe fest '08 (thanks Julia), it was actually a breakfast meeting with the girlfriends about our upcoming girls trip to Las Vegas and have to share. We decided to do the Price is Right Live, which I haven't heard anything about, so if you have let me know if it's good or bad! Todd Newton from E News is the host, so we'll see! I am a die hard PIR fan and have been to the Million Dollar Spectacular show, when Bob Barker was still the host. It was one of craziest, funniest memories I have of a friend who passed away from breast cancer. We spent the night in line on the streets of Hollywood. Shannon was the life of the trip and I will cherish it always! We unfortunately didn't get called up, but we were right behind the bidders and you can see us during every bidding war yelling at the dumb bidders, who bid $10 LESS than the person before them! You can even see me telling the showcase contestant to bid $48,000 and if she would have, she would have won! Idiot! It was a double over bid and very disappointing! I will be back, mark my words, Drew Carey will meet me!
My new favorite game show is Cash Cab, does anyone else watch??? After learning of the random facts Corbie has stored in her head, she would for sure be my mobile shout out! I just don't think being on Cash Cab could become a reality, unless I spent a week waiting on the side of the streets of New York waiting for a taxi! (no big deal, you don't win enough money anyway!)
I was a little mad that I didn't get to "come on down"!

I love cash cab! It cracks me up because anytime there is a question about anything in Utah the contestents make some comment like 'Oh, yeah, that's where the polygamists live!'
To answer the 'Question of the Day,' thanks to the downloaded game on my cell phone, I have already been made aware that I am not smarter than a fifth grader. So I'm thinking that my game show prospects aren't so hot :) New York is on the top of my list for places to go, so maybe I'll have my shot on 'Cash Cab!'
DUH! You know what game show I would be on Rob - it is only our lifelong goal! Price is Right (the traditional version) with Bob Barker as the host. The be all, end all of game shows. My dreams were shot last June when he retired. I'm glad you at least made it there to see him in person - I feel like I can cross it off my list because at least you accomplished this goal for us.
After that, I'd have to say Who Wants To Be A Millionaire or something trivia related.
And thanks for the shout out to my useless trivia skills. Little secret? I make half of it up. Just kidding - love and hugs,
Corbie
I can't see a cab in the city without wondering, "I'm only going two blocks but what if thats the cash cab? This could be my shot!"
I am a master of trivia while sitting in my living room...any where else my skills are debatable.
Die hard Cash Cab fan!! Funny thing, I do quite well here in my living room. I have, however, proven those skills don't exist when it's an actual game...I'd make a total fool of myself on a televised game show!
Sounds like a blast! I too spent the night on the curb in weird downtown Hollywood for the Price Is Right, it was an experience that I will never forget. However, I would have to say that after doing that I don't think I could be on a game show, I would probably pass out from being so nervous or not be able to think straight and make a fool out of myself.
