Death Penalty and Tide...

Thanks everyone for yesterday's excitement. It was so much fun to hear from people I haven't heard of in years and just as fun witnessing the debate of a liberative and conserberal...very fascinating! I hope there are no hard feelings and I feel like I owe everyone who commented one of my husbands mouth-watering, fattening, snappy, cheesy, yummy J-dog's!

Now to the more trivial laundry detergent and pics of the fam...

I don't do wash - that's Robert's department - but I have my own trust issues similar to yours. Am I the only one who doesn't believe that frozen yogurt is really fat free if it is sold in an obscure place? Like a gas station? Particularly is said gas station in Kanab or some remote place itself? I think they are just pulling my chain and feeding me ice cream. I know I can get Dawn to chime in on this one...we have the same issues.

Are you kidding me...who cares if the frozen yogurt isn't fat free at Maverick, it's so tasty you just tell yourself you believe and eat! Not only that, you can fill it as high as you want (because you do it yourself), so you just imagine you work at Golden Spoon (if you remember) and rotate the bowl around and around until you actually have 4 bowls worth of FAT FREE frozen yogurt in your small bowl and there is no guilt at all!

We should pull a Kramer and have it tested, if it would make you feel better.

Is this thing on? Corbie, you have no idea how many times i have asked to see the nutritional fact credentials at several locations. I have now stopped eating Froz Yog at any gas station because I don't believe. I mean come on, have you tried the Peanut Butter flav? ..SO creamy! There's no way it's FF.

Liar. When did you stop eating it at Mav. You are so dead, and it's about damn time you commented you poo-face!

Corbie made me do it..Blog that is. I stopped eating Mav Froz when Red Mango came to town. Once you go Red, you will never go back. Have you tried? Anyone? Anyone?

love you Robyn and Corbie.

Dawnie-
Red Mango really is the best! However because I live in Wendover, it is not easy to get there!

People are begging for an update on your blog, when are you going to give it to them???

You and your husband are the best speakers, has anyone told you that lately?

P.S. In case your wondering Sister Square Pants.. My 15 mile run was an SOB! Not sure if a marathon is in these little Mexi stick-legs future. I feel weird today, real weird, almost like I pushed my body so hard that my it's not doing what my brain is telling it to do right now. Like go home and sleep.

I couldn't even understand your message last night (while I was eating at the dodo), all I knew is you were running long time, no? Good Job on the stinkin' 15, what are you doing that for? Listen, you can run 26 miles because you are only carrying $1.05, I know those chicken legs can do it! You will not back out on me, you are my inspiration!

Sorry Dawny, but I disagree with Robyn. I think you have already proven yourself to the running world and you have already established yourself a hero...now, take a rest! I am honestly worried about those beautiful chicken legs. You do know that they have a higher potential of breakage. Also, you need to get yourself beefed up a bit and get your body ready for breeding. Babies love bodasious mommies. Good luck!

Not only do I use three times the recommended amount, I use multiple products, just to be sure. So I use color safe bleach in addition to my regular detergent. And if I'm washing whites, I use detergent, regular bleach and that new kind that you can pour directly into the wash. And I use both dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener. And don't even get me started on the multiple ways I treat stains. I'm a freak:)

And do you know anyone who uses a dime sized amount of shampoo? I don't even have that much hair and I use a handful.

Ok, I am starting to think that you have trust issues. Or, maybe I am too trusting. I don't know, but I may be the only one in the world who DOES believe in the concentrated power of laundry detergent. I just figure that the Tide people know more about laundry than me and I just trust them. I grew up in a house where law was the order and if the instructions say something then believe it. Who am I to question their authority, definitely not the "Queen of Clean". Plus, I figure that is less detergent for me to buy which equals more money for me and that it always a good thing. So far, my clothes have all turned out perfectly clean, but maybe that is just my over optimistic eyes looking at them.

Wait, Maverick has frozen yogurt? 1st I forgot that place existed, and 2nd, It hadno frozen yogurt when I left and I am now contemplating moving back.
I tried a 10K once. My biggest memory, bigger than the pain, was standing at the start lokking around and thinking "where are all the people my size?" later on I stopped counting all the stick figured men, women, and 10 year olds who passed me by like I was standing still.
Maybe if gas stations out here sold fat free yogurt I wouldnt have this problem

Kelly - good point on the dawnie, I almost changed my mind. Then I remembered that if she doesn't run she doesn't eat, so better to keep the energizer bunny going! And if I'm completely honest, I usually add about 2 capful's, 1 1/2 on the day's I am more trusting...I waste so much money! Who ever heard of using a dime sized amount of shampoo or conditioner...more money wasted.

brohammas - really it's worth moving back! Different flavor every day of the week!
I know what you mean about feeling out of place at a race, I'm the lurpy, slow chick that thinks she can run, but man I got heart!

Holy crap, Maverick still exists???? I haven't heard about those in 12 years, and obviously haven't paid attention on those rare occasions when I've wandered my butt back into Utah....
Tristan, I do my whites EXACTLY the same way! And I use both liquid softener and dryer sheets.
Dang....the ice cream/frozen yogurt addict doesn't have either in the house. Thanks, guys, now I have to make a special trip to find some tomorrow....
